Biographical Sketch:
I presently serve as the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and a Professor of Health Education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I have authored or coauthored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, received $6 million in grant funding and presented over 100 times at national and international conferences. My research interests include understanding the role or cholesterol, inflammation, and nutritional status on Metabolic Syndrome in chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease and cardiovascular disease patients.
