Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Lisa Lindley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global and Community Health at George Mason University, where she is coordinator of the Community Health concentration in the new MPH program and teaches graduate courses in health program planning and HIV/STI prevention. Dr. Lindley’s current research includes an exploration of cultural and structural factors associated with unintended pregnancy among Northern Virginia community college students; the role of non-collegiate African American lesbian sororities and fraternities in the promotion of sexual health and prevention of STIs in LGBT communities; and the professional development needs of family life educators in Virginia.
