Biographical Sketch:
Nadereh Pourat is a professor of health services at the UCLA School of Public Health and the director of research at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. Dr. Pourat's research focuses on examining the underlying reasons for disparities in access to care of underserved populations. Areas of concentration include access to oral health care, disparities in outcomes of disease management and medical home assignment within the safetynet system, and access to care of undocumented and other immigrants.
