Biographical Sketch: David Grant, PhD, is the Director of the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. Dr. Grant joined the CHIS team in 2001 and became project director in 2006. For 20 years, David Grant has been involved in applied social research at academic and public agencies. Grant received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his master's and doctorate degrees (1998) in sociology at UCLA.
