Biographical Sketch: Anna Hrybyk has been working in the public health field since 1998. She started her career as an HIV/AIDS educator in rural New Mexico and since then has worked in Brazil, Pakistan and India on water and sanitation, disaster response and preparedness and the prevention of trafficking. She returned to New Orleans to contribute her skills to the rebuilding of the region and was immediately scooped up by the Louisiana Bucket Brigade. She is currently the Program Manager for the Refinery Efficiency Initiative, a program that prevents chemical exposure by reducing accidents at refineries across the state.
