Biographical Sketch: Dr. Augustyn has been on the faculty at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health since 1993. She has extensive training and experience in maternal and child health research and programming, with an emphasis on the promotion and conduction of collaborative research and activities between academic and public agencies; research, and education in preventive health behavior and health promotion; and perinatal and prenatal health. Dr Augustyn also performs clinical duties as a certifier and nutrition counselor at the Johns Hopkins University Women, Infants and Children Program.
