Biographical Sketch:
Giang Nguyen is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania, where he leads Penn's Asian Health Initiatives. His research focuses on immigrant health, cancer control, health communication, and community participatory research. He also sees primary care patients, teaches medical students and residents, and does public health outreach to Southeast Asian immigrants. Giang is a Senior Fellow at Penn's Center for Public Health Initiatives, where he is a core faculty member for Penn's MPH program. Giang is also chair of the National Advisory Committee for the Asian & Pacific Islander National Cancer Survivors Network.
