Biographical Sketch:
Simona C. Kwon, Dr.PH, M.P.H. is the director of the NYU B Free CEED, one of eighteen CDC-funded Centers of Excellence in the Elimination of Health Disparities, and a co-investigator of the NIH-funded Center for the Study of Asian American Health. Her research focus is on the application of a community-based participatory approach to address the socio-cultural factors influencing health behaviors and outcomes among Asian American, and other minority and underserved communities. Her current research includes identifying evidence-, and practice-based strategies across the social determinants of health to eliminate hepatitis B-related health disparities.
