Biographical Sketch: Michael Durfee MD, began in 1975 as a child psychiatrist for foster children followed by the role of pediatrician at MacLaren Hall He developed a working forum on preschool aged molested children. He initiated the first child death review team and supported the creation of 1,000 teams in at least 11 nations. . His present work includes a statewide network of hospitals and an annual conference on traumatic child grief that is focused on foster children and support for line staff.
