Biographical Sketch: Rosebud Lightbourn Foster, Ed.D. Dr. Rosebud Lightbourn Foster, Ed.D., MSN, serves as Special Assistant to the Chancellor, Health Professions Division; Professor of Public Health and Family Medicine; Deputy Director, AHEC Program, Health Professions Division, Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Foster has served as Dean, Professor of Health Services Administration and Public Health and Vice Provost at Florida International University in Miami, Fla. She served on HRSA: National Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary and Community-based Programs; Governor’s Gold Seal Panel on Excellence in Long-Term Care; and the Florida Advisory Council on Closing the Gap: Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Florida; and is the recipient of numerous awards.
