Biographical Sketch: Jill Rissi is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University. Dr. Rissi’s career experience as a nurse, management analyst, health system administrator and foundation executive provides a unique perspective on health system issues. Dr. Rissi received a Ph.D. from the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University. Her research interests include deliberative democratic governance, and its effects on health system organization and health policy.
