Biographical Sketch: Professor Jackson has a bachelors degree in nursing from Florida State University, MPH from San Diego State University and Doctorate in Science from Boston University. Her specialty is perinatal epidemiology. She has worked in the USA, pacific islands and Africa. She is a full professor at the University of the Western Cape Cape Town South Africa. Her research focuses on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV, VCT, newborn health and infant feeding.
