Biographical Sketch: Tyra Gross is a doctoral student at the University of Georgia College of Public Health & has completing graduate certificates in both Global Health & Qualitative Research. She received her B.S.in Nutrition at Louisiana State University & earned her MPH at LSU Health Sciences Center. She is currently writing her dissertation on the successful breastfeeding experiences of low-income African-American women. Tyra is also interested in maternal & child health, global health & non-profit management.
