Biographical Sketch: Laura Elwyn, Ph.D. is a Senior Research Associate and Analyst at Advocates for Human Potential, with expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods, outcome studies, research instrument design, data collection and analysis. She served as the Principal Investigator for the Shared Decision Making in Mental Health Product Evaluation funded by the Center for Mental Health Services at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA CMHS). Dr. Elwyn has extensive experience in clinical social work in mental health, and in research and evaluation in mental health and related areas.
