Biographical Sketch: Ms. Jennifer A. Hartfield is currently a PhD-Candidate in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She earned her Master of Public Health in Health Behavior from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. Her dissertation research focuses on understanding the effects of social policies, socioeconomic position, and neighborhood context on uncontrolled hypertension inequities among Blacks.
