Biographical Sketch: Elena Cyrus-Cameron is 5th year PhD Epidemiology Student at Florida International University in Miami, FL working on the influence of social capital on HIV prevention for recent Latino immigrants. Prior to starting her doctoral work, Elena worked with Family Health International for 5 years on microbicide HIV prevention trials, and as a University of Michigan population Fellow at EngenderHealth, Ghana, working on reproductive health and family planning.
