Biographical Sketch: Karin E. Tobin, PhD., MHS. Is a social and behavioral scientist who has been conducting research with urban populations focused on HIV prevention, overdose prevention and mental health issues for the past 12 years. She is an Associate Scientist in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and her research activities includes examinations of social network characteristics and role of social environmental factors on health.
