Biographical Sketch: Damien Williams is Research Fellow in Public Health Sciences in the School of Medicine at the University of St Andrews, scotland. His research interests lie in the area of violence and violence prevention. Along with his co-author (Professor Peter Donnelly) Damien has worked with the Violence Reduction Unit and the Community Initiative to Reduce Violence in Scotland, the Scottish Prison Service, the Scottish Government and the World Health Organization.
