Biographical Sketch: Heather Parnell is a research coordinator at the Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research at the Duke Global Health Institute. Heather’s experience has centered on working with HIV+ populations throughout rural North Carolina. Her focus over the past four years has been utilizing information technology and electronic information exchange to improve health outcomes. She has experience working with several information technology intervention research projects funded through HRSA SPNS initiatives. She received her M.S.W. at the University of North Carolina.
