Biographical Sketch: Dr. Asel Ryskulova is an epidemiologist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics in its Office of Analysis and Epidemiology. She joined CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in 2003.
Dr. Ryskulova serves as statistical advisor and data coordinator for several focus areas that comprise the Healthy People 2010 and Healthy People 2020 initiative and for the DHHS National Healthcare Quality Report and National Healthcare Disparities Report in collaboration with representatives from CDC and other federal agencies such as Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and National Institutes of Health.
