Biographical Sketch: Marci Aguirre, MPH – Director of Community Outreach for Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP). Marci has been with IEHP since February of 2006. Prior to IEHP she worked with San Bernardino County Department of Public Health. Throughout her various positions she has outwardly expressed her passion for children, and the community in general. She has spearheaded efforts for drowning prevention, injury prevention and children's safety, and of course healthcare access and coverage for children. One of her newest and most proud endeavors was the creation and implementation of the Health Navigator Program, based on the community health worker/promotora model.
