Biographical Sketch: Laura Styles began her career in public health 14 years ago at the California Department of Public Health's Occupational Health Branch. For the past 12 years she has worked as program manager for the California Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) program, a NIOSH-funded project that tracks and investigates workplace fatalities in California. With a background in marketing and health education, she is most interested in disseminating the FACE fatality prevention recommendations to workers and employers who can improve workplace safety.
