Biographical Sketch: PhD candidate in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently she works as a research assistant for the Urban Sustainability Initiative where she is working on a regional sustainability project and a plan for more sustainable growth. Her research interest is the influence of the built environment on physical activity and food access. Her dissertation research will examine the association between unique urban design characteristics and walkability in Las Vegas neighborhoods.
