Biographical Sketch: Rae Starr serves as a Senior Biostatistician at L.A. Care Health Plan, a public agency that provides Medicaid and S-CHIP health insurance to a large, multi-cultural, multi-lingual, low-income population in Los Angeles County, California.
Rae’s duties include oversight of the annual member experience surveys in which members assess the quality of health care services. Rae advises projects on the design of activities to improve clinical quality; the quality of services; and evaluations of program effectiveness.
