Biographical Sketch: I was raised in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Emeral and Corene Crosby and am a husband and a father of four children. I currently work as a medical epidemiologist in the Division of Violence Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. My work involves descriptive and analytic research and community technical assistance in prevention of self-directed violence, interpersonal violence among adolescents, firearm-related injuries, and assaultive violence among minorities.
