Biographical Sketch: Michael Sanchez is a Public Health Advisor with the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences at the National Cancer Institute. As a Public Health Advisor, he facilitates the translation of evidence-based research findings into public health and clinical practice through national dissemination and implementation initiatives. He manages the Cancer Control P.L.A.N.E.T. (Plan, Link, Act, Network with Evidence-based Tools) web portal in partnership with NCI offices, federal agencies, and national organizations. He has over 10 years of experience in community health education and workforce development for public health professionals in both research and practice at the international, national, state, and local levels.
