Biographical Sketch: Karen Ehnert has been the Acting Director of the Los Angeles County Veterinary Public Health program for the past two years. Prior to that, she she was the Senior Veterianian for the program for 10 years, and the Monterey County Epidemiologist for 9 years. She obtained her veterinary degree and a masters of preventive veterinary medicine from UC Davis, and completed a preventive medicine residency with the California Department of Public Health.
