Biographical Sketch:
Melissa Watt is an Assistant Professor at the Duke Global Health Institute at Duke University. She has a PhD in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research uses mixed methods and focuses on the influence of mental health and well-being on health outcomes. Her work has included a focus on obstetric fistula patients in Tanzania, HIV and substance us in South Africa, and issues of aging in Sri Lanka.
