Biographical Sketch: Drue Barrett is the Lead of the Public Health Ethics Unit at CDC, the Chair of the CDC Public Health Ethics Committee, and the Designated Federal Officer for the Ethics Subcommittee of the CDC Advisory Committee to the Director. Dr. Barrett is currently focusing on developing a strategy to support state, tribal, local, and territorial health officials in their efforts to address ethics issues that arise in the practice of public health.
