Biographical Sketch:
Kristen Emory is a Ph.D. candidate in the joint doctoral program in Health Behavior between UC San Diego and SDSU. She is completing her dissertation work on familial and media influences on adolescent smoking initiation. Ms. Emory is dedicated to reducing tobacco-related health disparities in diverse populations. She currently works with the multi-site Health Media Collaboratory (HMC) and is a member of the Hispanic Community Health Survey/Study of Latinos (HCHS/SOL) San Diego working group.
