Biographical Sketch:
Marc Elliott, a Senior Statistician in RAND’s Health Program, focuses on health disparities, patient experience, and Medicare, leading several related projects. He has developed Bayesian methods of estimating race/ethnicity, language preference, and associated disparities using surname and address information. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and has published more than 200 articles in a range of journals. He serves on the editorial boards of HSR, JGIM, MCRR, and Public Opinion Quarterly.
