Biographical Sketch: Michelle Ramos is Program Manager for Communities IMPACT Diabetes Center, a CDC REACH US funded Center of Excellence for the Elimination of Disparities at Mount Sinai. She oversees the Center’s programmatic activities which aim to address diabetes-related disparities in East Harlem, NY. Ms. Ramos earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley and MPH from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her career has focused on chronic disease prevention/management and racial/ethnic health disparities.
