Biographical Sketch: Tom Bias is a research instructor in the West Virginia University School of Public Health and Health Research Center. Dr. Bias’s research interests are in public health policy, specifically how public policy can influence access to health care and how policy can reduce obesity and other chronic disease. He is especially interested in policy at the state and local level and within rural Appalachian communities.
