Biographical Sketch: Dr.Yao is a third year postdoctoral fellow from the UCSF Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education and Institute for Health & Aging. She received her Ph.D. in Health Economics and B.A. in Public Health from the Sichuan University, China. Dr. Yao’s current studies include estimating the economic costs of secondhand smoke exposure in rural China, and analyzing cigarette purchasing behaviors among different socio-economic Chinese.
