Biographical Sketch: Jessica L. Young is a third-year PhD candidate in the department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Her research focuses on health disparities, particularly the politics of health equity policies at the state level. Prior to attending the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Jessica studied political science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and earned a masters degree in health promotion management at American University.
