Biographical Sketch: Mark J. VanLandingham, Ph.D., is the Thomas C. Keller Professor at Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. His current research focuses on social and demographic change in Southeast Asia, and on how immigrants from that part of the world fare in the U.S. Dr. VanLandingham is currently on sabbatical leave from Tulane, based at the Russell Sage Foundation, where he is a Visiting Scholar.
