Biographical Sketch: Beatrice Manning, Ph.D. holds an adjunct appointment in public health at the University of Texas Medical Center. Beyond the academy she has worked in health economics and policy in the public and private sectors. While working in the pharmaceutical industry for Schering Plough, she became a whistleblower recovering $350 million for Medicaid and other public health programs. She has testified before the US Senate concerning Medicaid fraud by pharmaceutical companies.
