Biographical Sketch: Sara Hanks is currently an MPH student in the West Virginia University School of Public Health and is also the Curriculum Coordinator and Community Research Associate for the West Virginia Health Science and Technology Academy. In this role she brings together high school teachers, students and researchers across the state to build community based research projects on pressing health concerns in some of the most rural and under-represented populations in the West Virginia.
