Biographical Sketch: Kirstie King, is a Program Specialist for The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan- managing, developing, and coordinating community based programs and interventions. She facilitates: Stanford’s CDSMP, DSMP, Bodyworks, and is a Master Trainer for the National exercise program Enhance Fitness; Kirstie is a therapist, & also a trained Social Justice Facilitator. Kirstie co-leads multiple initiatives addressing the social determinants of health within Inkster, Michigan–forming the community coalition; “Inkster Partnership for a Healthier Community”.
