Biographical Sketch: Priya is currently a first year student in the Joint Doctoral Program (PhD) in Global Health at SDSU and UCSD. She also works at UCSD’s Health Services Research Center. Her main interest lies in maternal and child health in India, with an emphasis on access to prenatal and perinatal care. Priya conducted this study during her MPH program at USC for her ‘Culture and Health: An International Perspective’ course.
