Biographical Sketch:
Deborah Dee is the Senior Scientist with the Applied Sciences Branch in the Division of Reproductive Health at CDC and an officer in the USPHS. Deborah earned her degrees in MCH/epidemiology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and began her career at CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. She helped establish the Healthy People 2020 breastfeeding objectives, and was part of the federal interagency workgroup that developed the Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Support Breastfeeding.
