Biographical Sketch: Katherine Mitchell is the project coordinator for the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance, which is housed by the University of Michigan School of Social Work and dedicated to promoting and sustaining community health workers in Michigan. Ms. Mitchell, who has a master’s degree in social work, has worked with MiCHWA since its beginning. Her professional and research interests include health promotion, health disparities, and community-based solutions to improving healthy behaviors.
