Biographical Sketch: Interim ViceChancellor -Student Affairs- at UCDavis Dr. delaTorre, is an agricultural economist, director of the Center for Transnational Health and professor and former chair in the Chicana/oStudiesDepartment. She has served in the CSU system, University of Arizona and at UCDavis she has generated more than $19million in external funds to support educational outreach, recruitment, health education and training programs. Her research focuses primarily on social determinants of Chicano/Latino health issues, including border and binational health.
