Biographical Sketch: Caitlin Rivers is second year student at Virginia Tech as a PhD student at the Network Dynamics and Simulation Science Laboratory, and an MPH student in infectious disease. She is training to be a computational epidemiologist, with an emphasis on the intersection of human behavior and infectious disease. Her current work involves using Twitter to detect risky behaviors associated with the transmission of HIV.
