Biographical Sketch: Recently awarded the 2012 Health Education Champion Award from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Brendaly currently manages all community outreach, research and training activities of the South Florida Center for Cancer Disparities at University of Miami. She provides technical assistance on health communication/Latino health to several regional, state and national committees, including Latino Caucus of APHA, OMH's National Steering Commitee of Promotoras, Florida Community Health Workers Coalition, and Health Council of SoFl.
