Biographical Sketch: Samer Jabbour is a senior lecturer in Faculty of Health Sciences, American University of Beirut where he coordinates several regional project. He is the lead editor of the book "Public Health in the Arab World" published from Cambridge Univeristy Press a few months ago. He coordinates the Beirut-based Secretariat of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Academic Institutions Network in Public Health. He is Fellow of UK-based Faculty of Public Health. He is also a practicing cardiologist.
