Biographical Sketch: Emily Cook is a podiatric surgeon at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA where she is Director of Externship Training within her division. She recently completed the Harvard Podiatric Research and Surgical Reconstruction Fellowship and graduated with a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. She actively teaches at the Harvard Medical School and has been involved with the MA Dept of Public Health, focusing on chronic disease management and prevention. Today, she will be sharing information about the third phase of The Amputation Prevention Initiative.
