Biographical Sketch: Julie Halverson is an Assistant Researcher in the Cancer Control Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Carbone Cancer Center. She holds an MA in Health Communication from Emerson College and an MS in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research and work are focused on cancer health disparities, health literacy, community-based participatory research, program planning and evaluation, violence and injury prevention, and mental health promotion.
