Biographical Sketch: Ellen D.S. Lopez received her MPH from the University of Washington, Seattle, and her PhD from the University of North Carolina.
After four years as a faculty member in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Ellen is now a faculty member at the University of Alaska Fairbanks with joint appointments in the Department of Psychology and the Center for Alaska Native Health Research.
Her research is community-based and focuses on assessing and addressing health disparities in cancer prevention and survivorship among underserved populations.
