Biographical Sketch: Dr. Sue (Xiuwen) Dong is Data Center Director for CPWR-the Center for Construction Research and Training. She has conducted construction safety and health research for the past 15 years, and currently she serves as PI of four NIOSH projects. Sue is the leading author of a great number of publications. Her research covers multiple issues in occupational safety and health, including aging workforce, impact of occupational exposures on chronic diseases, safety and health disparities, costs of work-related injuries and illnesses, and many others. Sue has a doctoral degree in public health from the George Washington University and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
